This Summer we are running Sports Camp for the 3rd year in a row, and we need your help!

Camp will be held at GFC from Monday, August 3rd - Thursday, August 6th, from 6-8:30pm. There will also be a Cookout & Water Party on Sunday August 9th, for campers, their families, and our entire church family.

We will host elementary students (K-5th) focusing on a different sport each night and having a devotional time with them as well. As we also will invite the campers and their families to our Tailgate on Sunday, August 9th!

Here is where you come in! We need adults who can help each evening. You don't need to have much experience with any of the sports we are focusing on and if you can only make it certain nights, that is ok as well! We will also need help with some aspects of camp that have nothing to do with sports such as greeting, registration, snacks, and water. And we will need help in the nursery and preschool rooms for kids of our volunteers!

The goal is to make this as fun as we can for the kids and to connect them to Jesus through their love of sports/games. Just like last year we hope it gives us the opportunity to engage with families we've never met and build a relationship with them as well! We would love to have you on the team as we attempt to reach our community in this way! Last year we had 38 students, let's see if we can meet that goal again or have even more come!

VOLUNTEERS WITH CAMPERS:

• Volunteers who sign up before Monday July 13th can have their kid(s) come for free, they and their kid(s) are guaranteed camp shirts, and their kid(s) will be entered into the mega sports camp raffle held the first night of camp.
• If you sign up to volunteer on or after Monday July 13th it is $15 per child (which is still a discount from our regular price), you and your kid(s) are NOT guaranteed a camp shirt, and your kid(s) will NOT be entered into the mega sports camp raffle.
